We’ve been working this week to put everything in its place in our new home. Here are a few peeks into our home.
First, I love the fresh flowers that Michael’s parents sent us as a house warming.
Last night we hung this weathered wooden oval mirror over the fireplace and two oval frames flanking the back door.
Now I need to find two photographs for the frames.
This Tanamachi Studio print is now hanging inside the garage entrance to the kitchen.
It’s so good to have an organized closet! I may not have a glamorous wardrobe, but it’s fun to see everything in one place….
vs. living out of boxes for the past year.
I pretty much live in a uniform of chambray shirts with black leggings and boots in the winter or sandals in the summer. Easy and casual.

Graham’s sweet baby hand and foot prints are framed on the right side of my desk next to
a rock I brought home from the summer Michael and I spent on Mount Desert Island, Maine.
A pottery pencil cup filled with xacto knives, scissors, and paper scorers sits next to a pierced ceramic dish for
my extra xacto knife blades and paper clips. These are chevron and fretwork place cards I’ve recently been working on.
The irrigation installation began yesterday. I can hear them outside digging trenches as I type.
