Our garage doors were installed today! They are the CS (carriage style) from MidAmerica Door in the color “sandstone”.
We originally had a plan for a custom designed door but that didn’t fit in the budget.
Later down the road, we may install hardware (hinges and handles) to the exterior for added visual interest.
The brick grout is still wet in these photos but I think the garage door color will coordinate well with the dry bricks and window colors.
These are the first two windows to have a brick ribbon detail around them. I like it!
(laundry room & powder room windows)
The brick color and siding color ended up coordinating well together on the back corners of the house.
I really like the contrast of the alabaster grout with the black slate tiles in Graham’s bathroom.
Our tile installer said he’d never seen this combo before.
The tile installation started in our master bathroom today.
To save money in our house budget, Michael and I are painting the interior of our house (except for cabinets and the stairway). BIG JOB!
While Graham was at mother’s day out, we primed the entire lower level of our house and painted the playroom and hallway.
Happy 18 months to Graham! I can’t believe he is one and a half! He looked too cute this morning bundled up for mother’s day out.2 Comments »
