Welcome to my 2009 Christmas home tour! This year I’m using red and white for my dining room mantel (photos above). Dried red trees coordinate with my red wreath. My white pebble table runner gives the perfect textural background for the room.

Photos above: The green garland with jumbo pine cones and red berry touches fill our home with the sights and smells of the season. I love the glow of the lights following me up and down the stairs.

Photos above: Each window in our home is draped with white paper cutout garlands by Tord Boontje wrapped in silvery green bows.
