While designing and hand-making the wedding invitations for my marriage to Michael this year, I fell in love with the process of making one-of-a-kind pieces of art from paper. In the photos you’ll see some of the process of putting the invitation pieces together.

The invitation started with a 12″x12″ square patterned paper glued to another square piece of paper folded to create a pillow style envelope. Inside the envelope is the invitation, silver tissue paper, map to the wedding location with a pocket on the opposite side to hold the r.s.v.p. card, envelope, and wedding details card. All pieces match the invitation even down to the custom designed stamps for the invitation envelope and r.s.v.p. envelope. I also designed and made thank you tags for brown gift boxes filled with chocolates that we gave to our guests. If you would like custom wedding invitations designed or handmade, please contact me and we’ll discuss the details.
