TOMS on Zulily!
Tuesday afternoon I received an email from Zulily giving me a head start on their rare TOMS sale tomorrow. I’m not sure why I made the list. I just thought y’all might like a heads up that TOMS are on sale Wednesday. This is the only place I’ve seen them discounted. People seem to be snatching them up fast, so hurry! These are my favorites from the TOMS sale for women and the tiny TOMS for little boys. I wish I had a place to wear these cute wedges! I have one pair of TOMS that I wore all summer and I love to dress Graham in tiny TOMS. They are also offering free shipping if you spend $65 or more.

Christmas Lights Downtown & Our Elf
This weekend we took Graham to the lighting of the Christmas lights in our town’s downtown square.
It was freezing but fun! Graham now asks to turn on the Christmas tree lights at home if he sees they are off.
There were cute pony and carriage rides around the square…
… and carolers in front of the court house.
This weekend our Elf on the Shelf also arrived from the north pole. We named him Boxwood.
He came in like a wrecking ball! (Miley Cyrus joke)
Graham loves to find Boxwood’s new hiding spot each morning before breakfast and
usually ends up pretending to share his oatmeal with Boxwood.

Trick-or-treating Neighborhood Hayride
For Halloween, our new neighborhood hosted a trick-or-treating hayride for the kids.
Graham had so much fun and we were able to meet some new neighbors.
We fell in love our neighborhood even more!

The fall foliage is at its peak this week. Colors blanket the mountains in our neighborhood.

Graham organized his candy by color then enjoyed his first Snickers.

Our 5th Wedding Anniversary
Five years ago today I married the best guy I know. Michael and I are having a low key celebration this year. We planned to take a trip to celebrate 5 happy years but it just didn’t work out with our house under construction right now. Instead, we opted for a day with Graham at the pumpkin patch yesterday. I’m sure Graham was thankful he didn’t have to sit in the car or plane for a long travel day. He loved the petting zoo, hay maze, corn box, watching the tractors pulling the hay ride, and navigating through the huge corn maze. We’re so thankful to have this sweet little boy to help us celebrate our love for each other. Here are a few photos from our day at Farmland Adventures in Springdale, Arkansas:
I love that we were married on a pretty fall day in Arkansas at my uncle’s rustic log barn. I’ll never forget how magical that day was!

Five on Friday
We selected the interior paint colors for our house. I’ve been thinking about this for nine months so it’s fun to see it all come together. The internet has been searched high and low for examples of my favorite paint colors and we narrowed it down to these. Since we have such an open floor plan in this house, I’m going to keep the number of different paint colors to a minimum. I feel like they will flow well together from room to room. Most of the house will be Ash by Restoration Hardware and all cabinets and trim will be Westhighland White by Sherwin Williams.
I always enjoy when people share their house paint colors so here’s a list of mine by room:
Living Room, Kitchen, Foyer & Dining Area: Ash by Restoration Hardware
Cabinets & Trim: Westhighland White by Sherwin Williams
Powder Room: Slate by Restoration Hardware
My Office: Ash by Restoration Hardware
Michael’s Office: Latte by Restoration Hardware
Master Bedroom: Graphite by Restoration Hardware
Master Bathroom & Closet: Ash by Restoration Hardware
Laundry & Pantry: Ash by Restoration Hardware
Playroom: Ash by Restoration Hardware
Graham’s Room: Bay Laurel by Restoration Hardware
Future Baby’s Room: Cappuccino by Restoration Hardware
Graham’s Bathroom: Slate by Restoration Hardware
This week all of the sink faucets were delivered for our new house. We selected the Victorian collection by Delta for most faucets but chose the Augusta for the pot filler to save $$. We decided to go with a chrome finish throughout the house for cost reasons and because I feel like it’s more timeless than the trendy oil rubbed bronze and stainless steel that most people are using right now. Our plumber was surprised we chose chrome. If money weren’t a concern, I would have selected polished nickel and chosen a different brand like Waterworks. Some of our faucets were ordered through Faucet Direct but I found several of them on eBay for the best price.
1. Augusta pot filler for the kitchen
2. Delta faucet (model 755LF) for Graham’s bathroom sink with an extension for the vessel sink
3. two Delta faucets (model 555LF) for our master bathroom sinks
4. Delta faucet (model 554LF) for the powder room sink
5. Delta faucet (model 155-DST) with sprayer for the kitchen island sink
Saturday was the first Arkansas Razorback football game of the season. We cheered for the Hogs at Grub’s. Graham loved clapping and raising his hands in the air for touchdowns when the rest of the restaurant cheered. He also wore his Razorback jersey for the first time that his great uncle Tim and aunt Betty gave him. I think we’ve added a razorback fan to the family. WPS! The hogs won! I’m excited to see how our new coach Bielema boosts our football team. So far I’m liking him.

The black fascia and soffit are almost finished around the roof line and the siding on the back of the house started today. The black is a little unusual around our neighborhood, but I think it will really pop with our house colors.
Wednesday we selected our soapstone slabs for our kitchen counter tops. We may also use it for our bathroom vanity and laundry cabinets. When we visited the wholesaler to see their inventory of soapstone, all the slabs had a veining pattern that was unappealing to us. However, they let us look through their full inventory on their website and were able to bring in 4 other slabs from Dallas in just a few days, free of charge. It was really nice that we got to be so particular. We wiped water over our slabs to see how they will look oiled:
