Last week we designed + made new business cards for Timeless Paper. Painting all of my imperial trellis curtains for my updated guest room subconsciously influenced the design. The trellis business cards are folded with a tiny love bird cutout on the front with inverse rounded corners. The shapes were inspired by all of the tufted headboards I’ve been seeing lately on the interior design blogs. Order something from my shop and I’ll toss one in the package for you!

PS: Recycled Birds For Sale! Order the cutout trellis birds to use as confetti, scrapbook embellishments, or table decor from my shop.

To celebrate the launch of our cutout paper line, we set up a booth at the National Stationery Show at the Javits Center in New York City. We prepared the booth for three to four days before the show, which was open May 16 - 19. We worked for months before the show researching, preparing the booth design, perfecting our product line, and creating numerous catalogs and line sheets for our visitors. For our first show, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Our visitors and customers said nothing but kind words of support. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat and see our products. We truly appreciate you!

I am really proud of this project. It reflected the essence of Timeless Paper to a T. The neutral color scheme was a standout that made our products pop off the walls. Michael and I painted the walls slate gray and stuck white glossy vinyl text on each of the three walls. Thankfully he’s an expert at leveling! We hung three white shelves on both side walls to hold our paper collection. One wall displayed the cutout paper products in a cream paper with cappuccino tan dot color scheme and the other wall displayed in a white paper with black dot color scheme.

The back wall of the booth showcased a six-foot long white Timeless Paper logo over five white scones. The white sconces originally had mirrors that I covered with a painted lattice pattern over gray paper. The sconce bases were the perfect size to hold a wine glass to display our place cards that perch on the rim of a glass.

Chocolate brown metal and wooden towers showcased wine glasses and photographs displaying our products in each of the four corners of the booth. Silver sage painted wooden tables flanked the side walls to provide a perfect spot for writing orders and browsing our line sheet.

We had such a positive experience that we’re already planning our next event. Stay tuned to find out where Timeless Paper will appear next! Thank you to my husband Michael for your endless support, hard work and love. I am so excited to see where this exciting energy takes us.

We’d like to thank AOL’s Shelter Pop for awarding Timeless Paper with the Best New Line prize at the National Stationery Show.

In a few days Timeless Paper will be attending the National Stationery Show at the Javits Center in New York City May 16-19. We’ll be in booth #3146. We would love to meet you, so please stop by for a chat if you’re attending the show.

I don’t normally like to make excuses for my lack of blog posts, but the show preparation is taking most of my free time. Please forgive me if the blog is not updated much in the next few weeks.

Here are a few projects I’ve been working on to prepare for the show. Today my invitations to retail shops were mailed. Please let me know if you have a retail shop that would like to carry our products. I’ll send you an invitation to the NSS (with a great coupon inside). My invitations include a few sample place cards and our contact info. They have an adorable diagonal pocket inside to keep it all organized. (see photo above) I even embossed the gravel colored envelopes with our address.

Our booth will have two Norden tables on the side walls. I’m almost finished painting them low gloss silver sage. I’m attaching gray striped knob pulls for the drawers. The shelves will hold my white Kassett boxes. They will be perfect for storing extra order forms, media kits, and office supplies. Michael attached rustic industrial wheels to the table legs for easy transportation.

My media kits will be in these gray folders (see photo above) with an intricate white cutout on the front. They will hold my artist’s bio, line sheet, press sheet, press release, photos of our products and business cards.

I have plans to paint my clip boards but that is pretty low on my priority list right now. I have a classic lattice pattern in mind.
